Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the services provided by Defender Pest and Clean Services ("Defender," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 7270 Torbram Road, Mississauga, ON, Canada. By booking, scheduling, or receiving any service from us, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services Offered

Defender Pest and Clean Services provides residential and commercial pest control and professional cleaning services throughout Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Our services include, but are not limited to, cockroach control, spider control, bed bug treatment, rodent control, and various cleaning packages. Specific service details, scope, and limitations will be outlined at the time of booking or in a written service agreement.

2. Booking & Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website contact form. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking a service.
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, and we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to cancel within this window may result in a cancellation fee.

3. Access & Client Responsibilities

To carry out services effectively and safely, you agree to:

Provide safe and unobstructed access to the areas requiring service.
Disclose any known hazards, conditions, or sensitivities (e.g., allergies, pets, infants, or immunocompromised individuals) prior to treatment.
Follow all preparation and post-service instructions provided by our technicians.
Ensure that pets and children are removed from treatment areas for the duration and safety period specified by our team.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in delayed or incomplete services without entitlement to a refund.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, e-transfer, and other payment methods as indicated at the time of booking.
Quoted prices are estimates. Final pricing may vary based on the actual scope of work performed, and any changes will be communicated prior to proceeding.

5. Guarantee & Re-Service Policy

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the results of a pest control or cleaning service:

Please notify us within 48 hours of service completion.
We will assess the concern and, where applicable, schedule a complimentary re-service at no additional charge.
Guarantees are subject to the client having followed all pre- and post-service instructions provided by our team.
Guarantees do not apply to new infestations or issues that arise after the completion of service.

6. Limitation of Liability

Defender Pest and Clean Services is fully insured. However, our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage to property or structures.
Damage resulting from the client's failure to follow preparation or post-service instructions.
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
Results affected by conditions outside our control (e.g., structural issues, third-party re-infestation sources).

7. Health & Safety

All products and methods used by Defender are applied in accordance with Ontario regulations and industry best practices. Our technicians are licensed and trained to handle pest control substances safely. Eco-friendly and low-toxicity options are available upon request. Clients are responsible for informing us of any health conditions that may be relevant prior to treatment.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of scheduling, completing, and following up on services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required by law. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

Defender reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
